Quality Policies
Jeypore College of Pharmacy follows a decentralized and participative administrative culture, with various committees functioning under the guidance of the Director and Principal to monitor and ensure quality across all academic, administrative, research, and student-development activities. The institutional quality framework includes committees such as the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Academic Regulation Committee (ARC), Discipline Committee, and other functional committees responsible for addressing different aspects of institutional development. These committees work collectively towards the holistic development of students and staff by promoting academic excellence, research and innovation, skill development, Universal Human Values, counselling and mentoring, performance-based recognition and appraisal, and active participation in state- and national-level academic, cultural, sports, and professional events. The institution also encourages staff participation in professional development programmes, conferences, workshops, and other academic activities.
Among the institution’s best practices are “Teach the Teacher” sessions, Mentor–Mentee programmes, and Community Outreach Programmes, which strengthen teaching effectiveness, provide individual guidance and support to students, and promote social responsibility and community engagement. The institution also emphasizes structured placement and career-development activities to enhance students’ employability and professional competencies. Through these quality-oriented policies, decentralized decision-making, continuous monitoring, stakeholder participation, and systematic improvement, the college strives to create an inclusive and progressive academic environment that supports the holistic growth of students, faculty, and the institution as a whole.
